Last day in India! Wow, it can't be over already, can it? We have seen so much and yet seen so little at the same time. We leave in an hour to go to the airport. Today we were in Agra and went the the Taj Mahal. It was a five-hour trip there yesterday and 4 hours back today. I will put up some photos from Pune, Delhi, and Agra. More thoughts and observation later.
Our many thanks to Professor Bapa Jhala and his team and students, to the Alliance for Global Education in Pune, and SIT India for hosting us and showing us you beautiful country.
Dhanyavad!

Where do I begin again?
Since I wrote last, in Dhrangadhra we did many things: visited hospitals, talked to the students about their different projects; camped out in the desert overnight listening to the wind howl and watching the moon and then the sun rise over the desert; visited monuments to ancient battles of ancestors of Bapa Jhala's family and other ancient palaces of the family; visited temples; sat talking in the garden in the cool (well, cooler) early evenings. See the photos below.
What else? Well, Sara and I got sick too. The usual - diarrhea, but Dr. Patel, who we had met a previous day at the local public hospital, came to our room in the palace and diagnosed the problem. Thanks to the wonderful caring staff, we quickly had the right antibiotics and were soon on the mend. The experience in Dhrangadhra was fascinating, surreal, educational, sometimes confusing but always fascinating.
We are now in Pune, where we have spent one and a half days. This leg of the journey has also been wonderful. But I'll have to save that for another day, as it is 12:00 midnight and Sara is trying to sleep.
